Cut Hydrangea Care

Important! Follow these instructions as soon as you receive your flowers.

• Cut the stems underwater at a 45-degree angle.
• Scrape a couple of times with a knife the bottom part (approximately 2 inches) off the stems to help the flowers rehydrate
• Put your flowers in a container and fill it with fresh water. Allow them to hydrate for at least 15 minutes or until you’re prepared to make your flower arrangements
• Spray the blooms with clean water every other day to hydrate the flowers
• Make sure that the water level is always above the cut stem level
• Change the water in the vase every two days and recut the stems
• Keep flowers out of direct sunlight and away from heat and drafts

We highly recommend you check the status of your order on the FedEx tracking page to find out when your flowers will be out for delivery so that you can arrange for someone to sign for them. Sometimes, if it is safe, FedEx will leave your flowers outside the door, which may affect the flowers if the temperature is too high or too low.
